Q2.  IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TaKaRa LA Taq

        AND TaKaRa Ex Taq?

 

 

The only difference is that the TaKaRa LA Taq has higher fidelity than TaKaRa Ex Taq. As both TaKaRa LA Taq and TaKaRa Ex Taq possess the 3' to 5' exonuclease activity (proof reading activity), the frequency of errors during PCR amplification may be reduced when compared with conventional Taq DNA polymerase. Please note, however, that the supplied buffers should be used respectively with TaKaRa LA Taq or TaKaRa Ex Taq since the compositions and performance goals of each are different from one another.
